AMIE
AMIE is the abbreviation and popular name of the professional certification 'Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers'. The AMIE certification is given by Institution of Engineers (India). The qualification can be earned by passing Section A, Project Work and Section B examination of the Institution.
AMIE is recognised by Ministry of HRD, Government of India as equivalent to B.E./ B.Tech. for writing competitive examinations like the Civil Services, IES, GATE, etc., and for placement in government, the public and private sectors.
